Farewell to Titanic - a tour round iconic locations in Southampton

here some old photo's (some showing the area today) which are quite fascinating. Southampton hasn't changed much, there's now a pub named after the liner where many of the staff and crew were said to have gathered on the night before the voyage.

    Thanks for sharing Louise.

Southampton was my home after I left Salisbury in 1965 and I left there in 2010 to move permanently to Fiji. As an engineer at sea I spent many years sailing from Southampton and have very fond memories of 'The Grapes', or are those memories of hangovers
