    Thanks Binnur.

The background was exactly that colour on the day, it was overcast, but quite bright and yet raining heavily all day. Shot it from within a wooden shelter with a 105mm macro. 1/200 sec; f/3.3; ISO 200.

Luckily I was able to use a small aperture to throw out the detail of the leaves in the tulips behind.

Done very little to the shot at all.

The fact that I got anything at all from that day was amazing.

You managed quite well for a rainy day Ian,I actually thought the BG was made in PP because it wasn't a green colour we usually saw.It is amazing to see how weather conditions effect everything in a photo.

I think this was only one of three shots from the day that were worth keeping.

Very well done Ian. You have got the DoF just right, as they say less is often best.

Ian, your technique in both capture and PP gives the image a sense of softness and delicacy. A very appealing image.
