I like this Jack, but I wonder if it would be better if you had included the feet. In that case would there be a few more shadows on the ground?
As it stands, I might clone out the white blob on the left and trim a bit off the lhs so that the figure is not quite so central

Unfortunately I don't have full length shot of this guy, but I agree about cropping more on the LHS, makes sense, thanks.
