Interval timer / Time lapse, Which program

G'day I have a Nikon D7000 that has interval timer capabilities, i am wondering what is the best program Free or not free to put the images into a movie?

Effectively, you need a non-linear video editor, as a sequence of images are really a movie. Microsoft Windows Movie Maker, is free for Windows users or iMovie for the Mac are probably the obvious options. These are quite basic and I don't use either. The latest couple of versions of Photoshop have some basic video editing capabilities and for the serious amateur, you could look at Adobe Premiere Elements.

I tend to use Adobe Premiere Pro or Apple Final Cut Pro, but both of these are professional tools with learning curves and prices to match.

Sometimes I use Premier Pro which I have...but most of the time, I use ProShow Producer as I am more used to it before I decided to acquire Premier. My camera also have an intervalometer but it is not enough for me so I bought a remote with an intervalometer capability with it recently.

+1 on Lr Timelapse if you have Lr. But I'm weird and like doing some things the open source hard way and I'm not trying to do post-processing/deflickering, just assembling frames into a movie clip, so I use Blender [tutorial].
