    Circles in B&W

Hmmm, what to do?? I know! I will look around the shop for circles. Why circles you ask? I am not sure but maybe, just maybe, the top of the beer can that I was staring at had something to do with it!? Or maybe it was the fact that I had spent the last few hours making lead balls for the Black Powder Revolver. Whatever the inspiration was...here are the results for your viewing pleasure

#3 is terrific. To make it really terrific, try cropping at the top to render the three shells in focus about one-third from the top of the frame.

#4 is already really terrific. Don't change a thing with that one.

In the same vein, what about cropping the first one just to the right of those two rightmost-balls on the 'top layer'. What's to the right of that doesn't really contribute much to the image. I really loke the lighting on this one. Much more so than on #2.

    Thanks Donald.
Why is it that sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to get to look the way I want them??
I guess when your subject is all the same color might add a touch of a challenge to it??

Just to say that I adore #3. I'm not a machinery/tool person so it is likely because of the circle shapes, the interesting depth of field and all the shades... Beautifully photographed.

Thank you Christina. I do have the color version but Mono just seemed the way to go with these.
