LPG cargo? That would explain the peculiar shape and the bright red - for immed
iate noticeability and a warning to be very careful around her. Any chance you were able to get the her name, Binnur?
That much LPG could cause quite an explosion if detonated. Having worked in Halifax, Nova Scotia for a number of years I did some research on the collision of the French munitions ship Mont Blanc carrying the equivalent of almost 3,000 tons of TNT and the Belgian War Relief vessel Imo in Halifax harbor on December 6, 1917. The result was the largest man-made explosion prior to the detonation of the atomic bomb. The detonation vaporized the Mont Blanc, destroyed Halifax, killed 2,000 and injured another 9,000. Eventually, pieces of the Mont Blanc were found as far as 3.5 miles away.
