Nice depth of field, helping to separate the eagle from the background. very sharp, though I'm wondering if a little blur would help suggest some movement?
Not sure about the framing but the shot looks good to me.
Nice colours and nice light
Hi David I got a shot with some wing blur Ill have to go look at it if anything decent Ill post . thanks for viewing & commenting.
Thanks Bobo . Now that you mention it the framing is somewhat diverting attention.
Thank you Binnur!
A beauty, James. And I am amazed at the freeze you got (just enough - wingtip blur perfect) at 400mm and 1/250.
Very nice.. Gorgeous light and focus. I can't believe that you managed this at a shutter speed of just 250, so I am going to try some lower shutter speeds the next time I see an eagle. One way around low light. Thanks for sharing.
Be careful Christina slow shuttterspeeds often reward me with a messy culling bin.
Nice shot, James. I love the bird being lit in front of a BG in shadow. Considering your ss, the body position on the bird, and the fact the wings are still reasonably sharp, I'm going to guess he was gliding and you were panning along with him. Correct? What exposure mode were you shooting?
Ya done good...
Fantastic shot!!! Really nice!
Stunning shot Great lighting
Even with the reduced light and hard crop, it turned out well, James. Keeping after the eagles is getting results.
Sergio
Thanks all. To answer your question Dan that was shot in ap priority. I shoot in ap priority then raise my iso as needed to try and keep speeds up.
