Nice shot, I wouldn't mind seeing this view without the car, just for comparative purposes. As shot, the car serves as an anchor, showing approach to the scene and gives some balance to the shot. However, at the same time the autos position towards the water and barrier makes the scenario less than safe and that takes away the tranquility of the environment.

The first would make a good product shot as you have plenty of blue to play with for some narrative

Edwin... I really think that the "sweep panorama mode" of your camera does a very nice job. Of course, it is you directing the camera that really counts...

Binnur.........I don't know what the black thing is in the middle of the water, but it's definitely not a dust spot.

Re: ''Copeton Dam & The Indestructible Camry''
Thanks for your comment Richard. The sweep panorama mode took a bit of getting used to though. If you move the camera too fast it won't record an image, fun though.
Cheers........Edwin.

Re: ''Copeton Dam & The Indestructible Camry''
When you first looked at shot, the white bank looks a bit like a heap of concrete, hence Nandakumar asked what that "heap" was...the second shot shows it is not a pile of concrete though.

Re: ''Copeton Dam & The Indestructible Camry''
Thanks for clearing that up Isabel, it is indeed part of the dams rock wall.

Re: ''Copeton Dam & The Indestructible Camry''
may be some kind of artefact? It seems to have a circle around and a fine line that links to another odd circular shape in the dried out vegetation about an inch below.

Re: ''Copeton Dam & The Indestructible Camry''
Thank you Isabel for clarification; yes, i really thought that to be a heaped up concrete; it is the boundary wall i mistook that way

Here in Tn. we call that heap rip raff, and its just large rocks to prevent water erosion.
