Foggy Mountian Salvation
This is a 'primitive' church in a rural part of eastern West Virginia. The Appalachian region is known for its independent churches which are often created by one person of family. These churches often scorn formally trained minister believing that all Christians should train themselves by their own reading of the bible. This sense of independence has led West Virginia to be the only state that does not prohibit snake handling as a part of organized church services.

The story behind the image makes it even more interesting and compelling. Nice monochrome conversion, David.

Re: Foggy Mountian Salvation
Nice commentary...I like the monochrome treatment too but I think it needs a little bit more space at the front of the church....
