We were foster parents for a week.....

My neighbors from across the street moved out of town, and asked us if we could keep an eye on their dog while they were packing and driving back and forth.
Since he already spent quite a bit of time at our place, we didn't have a problem with it, so for about a week we had a house guest.
The hardest part was convince him that our bed was OURS, not his!
He is fairly young, and extremely active - and I miss him greatly.
He is also not a very good model, so all I could do was snap some pictures while his attention was elsewhere.
Taken the day before his family picked him up.

We were foster parents for a week.....

The secret to photographing an active pup, is fast shutter speed and fill food bowl to the rim.

    Kris,

Great looking pup! With all that exuberant energy, I can see how things could seem pretty dull after he left.

Also, I can see that he would be a pretty hefty bed partner...

Kris what a beautiful dog! I can understand missing him. A few years ago we visited an ear specialist for a nagging condition in my right ear (I hurt when the aircraft goes up and I am in it...). We got to talking about rottweilers. Hers looks identical to my Tucker. Her problem was that she cannot keep her dog off her bed. After a few visits, she was finally successful in doing so. In the meantime, hubby sort of decided to let Tucker in our bed. You can just imagine a huge Rottweiler that came from Texas lying down horizontally across a king size bed, arms and legs up in the air in the middle of the night... But we still love him nevertheless.
