    Tethered Capture in Lightroom 5

I have a Nikon D300, and attempted to use tethered capture on my desktop, which had Windows 8. I am using Lightroom 5.3. Lightroom was not able to connect to my camera.
I can connect via Lightroom 5.3 on my laptop, which has Windows 7.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Bruce

Try removing your memory card. I seem to remember I had to do that to get tethered working on Lightroom.

No problem. Unfortunately, this seems to be one of those undocumented "features" that seem to come and go.

I do shoot tethered and never had any issues. I upgraded LR versions like you and things stopped working. In the D800, I had to remove one of the cards to get it to work.
