    First with new CanonEOS 6D

I became the proud owner of a Canon EOS 6d on 1st February. Yesterday was the first real opportunity to try it out for real, due to continued bad weather and getting to grips with a camera far more complicated that my trusty 30D.

This is three portrait images stitched together using a Canon 50mm lens. I would welcome your comments, particularly on composition - does it work?

I would have to say it works. Nice image. Would you change anything about the composition based on focal length or angle of view? Just wondering if you had more variations of the same setting.

Thanks John. There is is little option to change the POV and still keep part of Marlow Bridge in the image.

I think it does. Letting us see just a bit of the bridge, as you do, gives us a more complete narrative than if you had excluded the bridge. If we had just seen a church on the riverbank it would have been a nice image, but would have lacked the context we get as a result of your composition.

    And, by the way,

Thanks for your comments Donald. The camera? - brilliant. It is taking a little time to get to grips with all the features, however the more I play with it the more I like it.
