These are beautifully lit are sharp where the need to be and soften nicely away from the faces. They capture great expression. I think the you do the lens justice and vice versa. I would think you'd want to crop in a bit, or just expand this portfolio with some head portraits - the sharpness looks to be there for that.

Travis...I have been waiting for quite sometime to capture that kind of shot of my dog's tongue...you beat me to it. I love it very much...The second one badly needed a crop, as Mark suggested.

The colors in the second shot are over the top. Excellent sharpness on both. On the grey dog you seem to always capture BGs that aren't very complimentary.

I've got a friend who swears by that lens. I've been seriously considering it to pair with my D800E. Please don't post any more photos taken with it. Could get expensive for me....
