    Hi Jim,

Yes, that's not far off centre at all, although the QR plate looks like it may stop the battery door opening far enough.

    Thanks for the update,

    Hi Dave,
Can you tell I've never done an equipment review?
The QR plate sits high enough that the door opens with plenty of room to change batteries.

For the Alvin Stardust look I have just ordered one of these. It remains to be seen if it works (or indeed goes with my leather all in one)

Come to think of it....no but I have to admit my wardrobe was once full of trousers exactly like that

I didn't have any satin or leather trousers, but did have plenty of big "bells" and a couple pairs of "stacks".

    Re: camera straps

Morning: I bought a LowenproTLZ2 telephoto lens holder which holds camera and lens. I supplemented it with a shoulder harness. It ends up looking like a baby carrier, and sits on my chest. When I arrive at the shooting area I add the shield long side out, add the regular strap at my neck for safety, but it has no tesion on it unless I were to drop the camera. The draw from the holster with the zipper top open is easy, and fast. I use the front little pocket to hold my gloves. My back pack then goes on my back normally. When I draw and shoot I drop my cane, and the dog just holds (see earlier email). The shoulder harness which is like suspenders, plus the pack cost about $135 Cdn totally. I am quite pleased. Hope that helps.
