Good Hair Day
Had a good hair day today! I didn’t get mad enough to yank it! ![EEK!](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/eek.png)
This gives my hair (the last one) the body, bounce, manageability I need!
But I do think I may have over-moussed a bit! ![Big Grin](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/biggrin.png)

This one is awesome and I'm glad it works on your one hair too! ![Wink](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/wink.png)
For some reason the angle of face wash shot looked awkward to me but this one feels 'right'. I won't even bother to speak to the technicalities of the shot but think that this would be ideal in a magazine advertisement for the product. Nice work!

I agree with Shane here...on all aspects of what she said...it certainly looks good for an advert. I might add that perhaps the other one was not as good because it was directionally challenged. 'Should have been facing right...do you think?

Re: Good Hair Day
I’ve been mostly interested in the technical procedures/techniques for getting these latest shots I’ve done. A lot of thought regarding composition or “right/left” kind of took a back seat. Although I’ve been thinking about it more and more since it seems to be a recurring theme. Which is probably for the best because it is an interesting concept.
As far as composition goes I’ve pretty much just done what I think I might like as I start to see the shot in my feeble mind. Its interesting to see what kind of composition seems to work and what doesn’t so much. I guess the whole science behind the advertising industry is based on how to make a product appealing and to what demographic.
I did purposely set this bottle so as to lean to camera right and slightly back. Then I wanted the splash to cross it diagonally to form kind of an “X” shape with opposing diagonals. There was no particular reason for that other than I did it differently last time and I didn’t want to do two the same compositionally.
I think it might be interesting to see if I can find out more about this whole left/right topic. But it also occurs to me that it might be kind of boring if everything was shot the same way all the time.
So I just want to say that I really appreciate the feedback you guys are so graciously providing on this.
