Before and after!

This little guy is living in a flower box the wife has at our front gate! This was just before he jumped on a bug,you can see his fangs at the ready!

This was taken just after the kill which was so quick i never even seen it,amazing little creatures!

I was attempting to photograph one a couple of days ago. It was living in a masonry crack around a door frame and kept moving in an out of the crack. Even when outside, it was running around faster than I could focus.

Eventually managed a couple of acceptable shots but nothing as good as these images.

I am equally amazed. I have a hard enough time when these guys are still getting a shot as well done as these. Brilliant to actually get it catching a fly(?)

Thanks Geoff,as you say they are very difficult to shoot,i think that he was in between the flowers made him feel safe or the fact he was stalking gave me the slight advantage
