    Nice shot Erick,maybe try toning down the highlights and saturation a tad,we have a similar bug here in Turkey,but not quite as red!

    Good one Erick.

    Looks like you had some harsh lighting here to contend with but to compensate for the small aperture of f32 you have given yourself a pretty low shutter speed of 1/25s if hand-holding.

    As David has mentioned you can pull the highlights back a bit in post to help with this one.

    A bright overcast day or a diffuser is best IMHO. Specular highlights are so difficult to control. Good attempt though. Keep them coming.

    thank you guys and a lady, your comments are most welcome and i find it really helpful..yes, took the shot at around 8am and the sun's really up and out but couldn't move the bug to a shaded place, afraid that it might "bug out of my sight"..stagecoach,heed your advice and used the tripod this time..was trying to upload the original shot, but the tab Click here to upload photos from your computer is not working? anyway, will try again later..
