As usual, fantastically sharp, I'm envious of that canon lens, but alas, i love my Tamron lens. what aperture are you shooting at bud? And re you at closest you can get?

Thank you Claudio,i am sure the Tamron is just as good bud,you are getting great results with it! This was shot at f14,I set my closest focus in manual,then slowly move in until my subject becomes sharp an click,there are still a lot going in the bin but every now and then you get a keeper

Excellent handheld(?) shot. I'm always envious of a good macro shot. Tried it a few times, but where actual critters are concerned I can never get them to stay put. Especially flies etc.
Some really nice colours in there.
