Helpful Posts: Sunday my son and I took a drive along the Pony Express Road here in Utah. It was a 6hr round-trip drive (only because we didn't go further - that's for another day) During the drive the weather started out great then slowly turned dreary and windy and because we were headed to a particular destination we didn't have time to stop and take different photographs. So, I managed to get 2 decent ones (next time I go I don't think I'll bring my son, rather myself or with a fellow photog and spend a whole day or camp)
This area is nothing but desert like backcountry, wild mustangs, tons of cows and over all just a beautiful, and for the most part, untouched area. I do wish I had more pictures to share though....

There's much to see in Utah. North Utah is mountains and marsh/great salt lake. Southern Utah is red rock country and western Utah is mostly desert/mountains. So he could do a back country adventure or go to the most popular destinations 😊

Beautiful images, as always. I especially adore the 2nd image for the composition, colours and the light, and also because it is so different, surreal. I've never seen such a scene.

You did a good job showing a bit of the essence of the location. Just looking at these shots made me thirsty
Some of my favorite vacation spots are in Utah. Zion, Bryce, Escalante, Moab/Arches are all great places for anyone with a photographic bent. Unfortunately Zion is the only one I've visited since getting serious about photography. Keep trying to get back there in fall when the leaves are turning and flow is down in the river but haven't made it yet. I've never made it up around GSL and environs for bird photography but it is on my bucket list.
