Tulip
Hi all. My wife came home with some tulips from the market and placed them on the kitchen table. The overhead light made them glow a bit. Took this with D3100, on tripod, 50mm prime with 12mm ext tube, f/1.8. Just purchased the extension tubes. I was trying to fully blur the background and create a little bokeh. Any comments would be appreciated.

Re: Tulip
Nice vibrant image.
You may want to fix the somewhat blown top of the back petal.

Re: Tulip
Very nice - my thought is that the blue on the right is a little strong - and takes some attention from the subject. I like the effect on the back petal, actually, and am not clear on how it was achieved. But it works for me - takes the image beyond ordinary.

Re: Tulip
Also maybe rearrange to lose the OOF second tulip at the front left?
Interesting effect though.

Re: Tulip
I really love this image...truly romantic....petal in the foreground usually disturbs, but here it is not... it adds to the story..
