I could't resist following on from JimB's lovely wintry shots with a rather different one.
Taken at Lingfield wildlife centre, Surrey, last July, on one of the UK's hottest days of the year.
EOS 60D, 70-200mm f4 L plus 1.4 converter, 1/320s, f/6.3, ISO 400, -0.3 compensation. Cropped, a little bit of sharpening and highlights adjusted in Elements.
Catching the wee beastie stationary was a bit of a challenge....
My! My! an orangy squirrel...I've never seen one similar. Our backyard ones are greyish, brownish in colour...my dogs love them! and we trap them and bring them to Uncle Harold's farm (to a reserve where we release them...I just call the place Uncle Harold's farm because my ex-father-in-law's brother-in-law loves critters.)
