A story with the beer you mean...? This is just a thought: food, something to munch and crunch like a pack of open chicharones to go with the beer perhaps? or a bunch of books to indicate you mean to be alone for the day, read a book or newspaper middle of the afternoon as a repast... or a baseball or soccer ball to indicate sport watching. How about that?

Two wine bottles to indicate getting drunk? I have an aversion to getting drunk...sorry.

I adore the position and sense of movement. A little more plantar flexion (more on the toes) would be nice if possible, and only if it is not too difficult to do.

Here, by the way, is as far as I got with your idea...

    Beer, etc.

OK, then. Hue and structure for Mike, and flexion for you. Tomorrow's another day.
BTW Izzie, the extra bottle wouldn't necessarily imply solitary consumption - even one would be past the safe point for me. So maybe some tokens to signify group consumption?

Bravo, Mark! If these images are your first attempt at product photography, you have a great talent. Keep it going.

My tip for the day: The absence of light can be as important as the application of light. Make yourself some black, white, silver and gold reflectors. I use foamcore board cut to various sizes and covered with foil or painted matt black. Figuring out where to position them and how to support them in place is half the fun.

Your last thought is always the best...group consumption: go for it mate! And just a thought too...extra bottle meaning the same one as what the glass contains? 'would be nice to see that with the other bottle plus some tokens. Another possibility later on will be to composite a tv screen with the Superbowl or some sort of sports playing on...lots of potentials in that shots.

Also with the other two shots accompanying the beer shot. The clamp needed a companion too for your story like glue and pieces of wood about to be put together. I like that clamp and no one talking about it.

The tennis shoes -- you are getting a lot of help there already...keep the imagination going...until you get sick of it and move on to your next project. There's nothing like looking at the same thing over and over again and getting an overglut of information you thought you can use...

Here Izzie: you do it. Two wine bottles, one empty on its side, and two glasses partially filled, one with lipstick. No superbowl required.

Last version of shoe until I get permission to put screws through the soles. On toes for you, and grunged, de-greened for Mike.

    Beer, etc.

Just to say that I especially love the final version of the running shoe! Beautifully photographed!

The only other thing I can think of if you're still inclined to play with this idea - would be a little puff of dirt, or a sprinkle of peddles flying in the air behind the shoe...
