A Simple Landscape for C&C
Yesterday my wife ran a 10K trail race at the DuPont Granogue Estate in northern Delaware. In an effort to live up to my New Year resolution to "shoot more people" I was there to photograph people running the trails. I did, in fact, take a ton of images of people.....but this is the one I submit to CIC!![Wink](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/wink.png)

Re: A Simple Landscape for C&C
Though I applaud the creativity involved in providing a unique perspective, displaying only the top of the buildings doesn't work for me.

I'll have to agree with Mike on this one; I'm not sure it really works all that well.

Re: A Simple Landscape for C&C
I'm reasonably happy with that shot, Andrew.
Possibly a slightly tighter crop to lose a fraction from the right side will move the building out of the main focus area. Then the main view looks onward to the far distance by way of the gap between the trees and building; instead of stopping at the building.
Probably able to lose a fraction from the foreground if necessary to create a suitable aspect ratio.

I like the winter tones a lot. I get the controversy about the barn - but you could look at it this way: this is much more interesting with it than it would be without it.

Thanks for all for the comments. I think Andre has done a perfect job of putting this one in perspective for me.
