    I had a reply from a friend living in Languedoc saying that these folks were clearly tourists because French people wouldn't be out in such awful weather! Given what we saw on CBS tonight in the US, a story about private use of drones, mebbe this dude should mount a GoPro good down to -100ft underwater on a drone and send it out to take his pictures while he watches the scenery at home on his computer screen or television. ;~)

    I doubt if a drone would stay up against such a wave any better than a human ... though probably it would climb up out of the way with an alert pilot. While camera could be in a waterproof housing the drone would not appreciate the wet.
