Skyline shot at night with full moon

Just thinking....am going to New York City Friday. Am doing the proverbial skyline shot at sunset and blue hour. I believe the full moon will be rising around same time. I don't think it will in my 'way', but at sunrise it may be.
Avoiding it is 1 option but any other insight is appreciated.

Not sure of your question regarding the option but I can tell you the moon ( not full on Friday btw ) will be at least around 20 deg above horizon. Hope the skyline hides it or take the image in a way one of the building hides it. You always can fall back on "cloning" in pp.

But if you do take it with the Moon, you could perhaps take two different images and combine them together so as not to overexpose or underexpose the complete image. Here's an example, its surreal but you get the idea.

If you can't avoid it, use it.

Get The Photographer's Ephemeris. It will show you all you need to know, for any location and date, e.g., time and location of moonrise, moonset, sunrise, and sunset, location and elevation at any time, etc.

Keep in mind that the moon is likely to be much brighter than everything else, which may require two images.

Thank you all for taking the time to help and add links/ info.
I will try all of your advice, take 2 shots and merge, and if I can't get around it- use it,
    I will be fine, thanks!
