Nice detail. it seems your DoF is right on. Did you use a tripod? I see it's a 100 macro lens.
Very nice image,David - The hairs of the bee are nice and sharp/crisp.
Thank's for commenting Bob,this shot was hand held,i was using Canon's 100mm macro,f14 and flash!
Cheers David
Cheers John,much appreciated bud!

That's a very good image David.
that's a beauty!
Very nice David...I like the sharpness of the shot. Bees are not scared of flash either. Camera-wise, they are not shy either...![]()
An image taken by the photographer doesn't need any kind of explanation and Photo itself is well explained. That's the what you've done, David. Superb!!!
Very nice as always DavidMay I ask why you used flash,is it a technique for macro shooting or the light wasn't enough?
Hi Kate, thank you for the kind words, much appreciated!
David
Cheers Binnur, the reason i use flash is to freeze the subject, because at 1-1 magnification any slight movement is exaggerated, and the flash helps with this, also when you are halfway in a bush it gets pretty dark with not a lot of natural light
David
Outstanding image.... really liked this....
Cheers Nandakumar,appreciated bud![]()
Amazing shot, Dave. That certainly is a busy little bee.
