    Eagle

Well, I found the eagles nest that I was looking for. Went there again yesterday and found the eagles in the nest. It sits in a way that it is really difficult to get a good clear pic of it. This male(?) eagle was bringing branches for the female(?). She was fixing up the nest with what he was brining and I managed to catch this pic just when he was leaving to get more material for her. I have cropped the pic and tried to clean it up a bit so figured I would post what I have done so far for feedback. Am I on the right track here?
I am posting the original and the edit.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Rita,

To be honest, birding is one category I am not trying at the moment. I do not have the tools for birding. At least a 500mm lens, mounted on a gimbal head, before I will try my hand at it.

The crop is what you should have captured with a long lens. Cropping that much spoils the image, you lose all important detail. I like the composition in the crop. I think that is the kind of shot you do not often have an opportunity to capture. Perfect timing. Very well done.

    Save for that long lens!

Andre, thank you for your feedback. This was one time that I wish I did have a longer lens and also a chainsaw to get rid of some of the extra trees
