    Eagle

Well, I found the eagles nest that I was looking for. Went there again yesterday and found the eagles in the nest. It sits in a way that it is really difficult to get a good clear pic of it. This male(?) eagle was bringing branches for the female(?). She was fixing up the nest with what he was bringing and I managed to catch this pic just when he was leaving to get more material for her. I have cropped the pic and tried to clean it up a bit so figured I would post what I have done so far for feedback. Am I on the right track here?
I am posting the original and the edit.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I like the composition of the cropped image. You did well under the conditions. That's definitely a tough location. Good opportunity for habitat shots but getting tight, clean shots of an individual bird is going to be difficult. If you watch them for a while and figure out which way that come and go then if it's possible you can position as well as possible to minimize obstructions. Ideally you would want to be positioned such the they are landing and/or taking off towards you.

It is very difficult to tell male from female BEs. If you see them sitting side by side, the female will likely be the larger of the two. They mate for life.

I like the composition of #2 but I like it that you included the first one because it shows the difficult condition/place of where you were at the time of the shot.

Thank you Dan. I have been watching this nest for the last few days and looking for the best vantage point. The eagles have put their nest in a difficult spot for good pics, every angle has tons of branches in front of it. I think this opportunity is too good to give up on so I am determined to get right spot at the right time yet
