Welcome Sasank I would actually shoot closer and with different angles. The India Gate stands tilted in both images I think it is because you used a wide angle lens.IMO your images need cropping tightly because there are so many unnecessary stuff in the scenes. It might be a good idea to post some other alternative shots if you have any so that we can choose the best one to improve.I would also be happy to have your real name as we usually have in CIC
Sasank ,you can either crop the big tree in #1 if you want to keep the reflections ,in this case you will have to get rid of the blue hose in PP or you can crop the reflections at the bottom and crop from right to the right edge of the big tree, that gives you another composition. The lighting is not very good in the photos,so I think you have to do something about it in PP too
Because you live in New Delhi ,you can always go and shoot again.I don't know about your experience in photography but tutorials are really good in this website and you learn a lot by joining the forums.I'm not very experienced either but I can tell you I have learnt a lot in CIC.So,good luck
Thanks Binnur
I guess I will have to revisit and take one with better light.
If you go and shoot again please don't shoot 'only one' Sasank, try a lof of shots with different angles. Then you can study all of them at home and choose a couple of ones to work on.Also ,it might be a good idea to read about lenses in CIC's tutorials before going out to shoot again so that you can choose a suitable focal length when shooting
Hi Sasank,
Welcome
I like the images; one point i noticed is that the gateway appears to look away, unconcerned about the viewers. If the gate way was on the right top corner than on the left top, the problem would not have been there... the image has its life though
Regards
