Because our house is dug into the side of the mountain and lower than the rest of the yard we need a drainage canal. Last week, stone cold sober I fell into it. This week we have what will become a pretty little bridge.

With the hand rails lashed on to the uprights I'd say it qualifies as a good example of 'retro' construction ;-)
