If you have such a nice garden,you should have included some of it in your birdbath photo,so your birdbath would look much nicer in a better composition I like the photo,would you like to crop it from bottom to the half of the reflections?IMO the dark part at the bottom doesn't add very much to the scene.

I was thinking about it but did not do it as it might lose some of the balance with the dark sky. Maybe I should crop a tad to get a centre line.

I sat there last night for the first time in three weeks, as it has been raining constantly for the last three weeks, and John's low light thread came mind.

After a warm day the paving is nice and warm around the pool and it is a pleasure doing exactly as you describe.
