The first flowers on a tree I planted two years ago and I had to photograph them outside tonight due to the winds during the day. I would have loved to take one indoors but I'm not that brave
Googling these it's pretty rare to see much other than the full flower shown due to it's unique shape but there was not a single bloom I could isolate reasonably.
my web connection is lousy tonight so only #1 loaded. i love the colours and how I get drawn into wondering what is on the other side.
The red in these was blown a bit but did not show on the camera histogram but easily bought back by adjusting tint in WB.

Lessons learnt;
a) Buy another LED head light so I can have one permanently fixed to rig pointing at the subject for focussing and one on my head pointing down so I can see the toads before I step on them.
b) Should have done a few closed down a bit although I like the limited DoF.
Comments and suggestions welcome as always.
