Some Friends' Dogs
Went for a walk with a couple of friends and a pack of hounds. Tried to get a couple of shots of their dogs for them. Opposite ends of the spectrum with a 13 year old brown lab, Abby, and just over a year old yellow lab, Winston. Here are a couple of shots.

Re: Some Friends' Dogs
You did them proud, Dan - they are very, very appealing. Second is especially great for me with nice background hue and light in eyes. But then I'm always a sucker for dog shots.

Dan, great shots, two very handsome dogs. I most like #2 just for that classic pose. #1strikes me as an older and wise dog.

I love Abby -- she has a very nice smile...but then like Mark, I am a sucker for dogs too...#2 is a classic pose, I agree. #3 is very much like your dog, Dan...

Re: Some Friends' Dogs
Thanks, guys. Yes Winston is still an adolescent with some filling out to do. And he looks a lot my our Grace in that shot because he was playing with her. Or more accurately he was playing catch and she was playing tease the other dog with the stick.
