Just posted my first two photos. Hope I have got it right so far, this is all new to me.

I would appreciate any comments/criticism, advice on my photos. Looking to improve.

Highland sunset, just grabbed camera before sun setting - did not have time for tripod set up.

Hi Joan and welcome to CIC,nice images,i like #2 a tad better but thats just me,it looks like it could do with a slight clockwise turn to me,just to straighten your horizon!

For me, Joan, you have a little too much dark and uninteresting foreground in both images so I would crop a little closer from the bottom. Which means also losing the same amount from the sides or having a different size ratio.

Otherwise they look fine.

Both are beautiful shots though it needs a bit of work as already stated by others before me. I like #2 for its magnificent location.
