Beach Kids

My daughter recently asked me to take some B&W shots of her kids at the beach. Here are just a few. Any comments and suggestions greatly appreciated.

Basically good; although I wonder if some would take a fraction more in the way of increased contrast.

I have absolutely no experience of serious people and portrait photography but what I can say is there's something real special about these Kevin.

One bit of advice though, get them printed and framed.

Hi Kevin,
Even though I log on to CiC every day and see some good pictures and interesting discussions taking place, this is the first time in quiet a while that I felt I must make a comment.
These pictures IMO are great; I particularly like 2 & 3.
One day I might be good enough to be able to capture my grandchildren in the same way.

The crop on 3 and 4 feels a bit tight IMHO, but otherwise perfect.
3 needs more room on the left and 4 on the top.

Beautiful models, I like the last both most, though difficult to decide because they all are so nice and transport a lot of expression. I love the theme, took some of my children on the beach as well
