    Mini Competition #77

    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forums

    Stained Glass Memorial Window

Stained Glass Memorial Window to commemorate Thomas Traherne (1637-1674)

This is one of two windows in Hereford Cathedral, installed 2007. I have been photographing stained glass for nearly 40 years and this is a modern jewel. feel free to disagree though

    Re: Tigerwing

That looks nice Wendy, and I'm not fond of insects. It looks familiar, I used to keep moths and butterflies when I was a kid. What kind is it? I'm being stupid because I didn't read the title, it looked like a red admiral for a minute.

This one is actually from South America, the other one that I've posted the Ricepaper is from Asia. They are all fluttering around in a closed in temp. controlled conservatory (huge greenhouse) There are about 30 different kinds, but most of them are pretty active. The Ricepaper was the only one that sat still for very long while I was there.

    Ready for next meal

Obviously not shot outdoors in Norway ... from a very large 'greenhouse' display. No exif data as I had already prepared

    Mini Competition #77

Uff ... I should have used this in the 'Every Little Helps' Comp

    Left Angle

5 image stitch with GG2 filter of a park picnic area. Lots of squirrels hiding in the tree ahead. C&C welcome.

    Re: Left Angle

I'm confused, I can see it and even if I clean my pc I still see it, in fact the pics look better in IE8 even though it is hard to believe. IE is a nightmare browser to write to with everything out of kilter with everybody else, and firefox the easiest and straightforward. I'm descending into jibberish now, I don't know why you can't see it. cheers

    Re: Life as a Raindrop

    Hi all,

My apologies, I have erred creating the poll and this mini-comp only allows one vote each. (as 6 of you know already)

We will try to fix, but initial attempts have failed

    Sorry,

    Sorry,
You mean you can (normally) vote for more than one image? I've only ever voted for one, I thought that was the idea...
