Snow is fickle stuff, at least at my latititude. You can get some evilly weird results if you use it as the white point

I have to thank Kaye for this. Her suggestion opened up a whole new tool chest for me as regards the ability to manipulate the image. The ability to selectively brush in or out amendments is of immense value. Funny how when you actually use the tools as intended they work better.

Still a bit of a work in progress but I wanted to let others see how well this has worked so far.

    Bunnur

Trevor's original is the first post in this thread. If you click on the image above you will then view it in the lightbox. Then, click on the left and right arrows at the bottom of that window and you will scroll between the different versions

Yours too? Must be an international phenomenon.

I like the re-work. Gives more prominence to the lines.

You now have a whole new world of control available to you, at least to whatever extent the brush can be used. I don't use Aperture so I have no idea how flexible or powerful its brush is.

However, you can't view two images that way in the Lytebox if the two images are on different pages of the thread. There is a way to change the default number of posts displayed on one page to a larger number but I don't remember where that setting is. Hopefully someone will explain that so Bunnur and others so they can make use of it. I've got mine configured to whatever the maximum number of posts is so I can view as many photos as possible in the Lytebox without having to close the page and open a new page.

Thank you Mike I know that option and mine is already set to 40 posts per page.Setting can be adjusted this way: Go to settings and then go to general settings ,members can make the adjustment there. Btw,I explained the silly mistake I made to Donald and to you in another post above

I like the second version, the bush is less prominent and more a part of the picture - sorry for giving you more 'work'
