    Very little ant:)

I had to crop the image heavily to make the ant stand out more.It isn't as sharp and clear as on my computer's screen, why? Is it because of resizing the already heavily cropped image?

    C&C appreciated as always

Mine is a very little ant:)

Thank you Isabel, real ant shots are for real macro shootersIt looks sharper on my screen,is it because of resizing that uploaded one is less sharp?

    Binnur,

Did you change the image dimensions as well when resizing?

John,I resized the image while uploading and I chose one of the dimensions in the upload page,as far as I remember it was the dimensions for the 'web page'

It's not 'web site' option, it is 'message board ' John, sorry for the mistake.

Thanks Binnur. I was thinking about resolution, if you change change resolution the image size stays the same, pixels will change proportionately.

John,I'm a bit confused. The cropped image was 947x856 300 ppi and dimensions for the message board option is 640x480.If I change resolution which option do I have to choose while uploading to CIC,there is a 'default' option,do I have to choose that one?

    Binnur,

Continue doing it the way you've been doing it. I usually upload at actual size and let CiC resize.

Well captured Binnur, it's surprising how often this happens especially when you set up to take a flower shot and along comes one of the mini critters to make things more interesting
