These are nice with the light coming from behind. As well as the skill of the photographer, I admire the skill of the spider in creating things like these, and they seem to work so fast.

Briggite, a great shot and very fascinating image. Two thoughts; maybe try and bring out a bit more detail in the web on the top right and second, have you thought of converting to B&W? I think this would be a good candidate for that.

Thanks John, Grahame, Tony, Jack and David

and they seem to work so fast
Tony, they don't just seem to. When I remove a spiders web within the cleaning, mostly the next day it's re-spinned (new english word?)

bring out a bit more detail in the web on the top right and second, have you thought of converting to B&W? I think this would be a good candidate for that.
Jack, which one (or two?) do you mean? Just the one on the top right?
And yes, I thought of converting in this case, I agree it could be a good image for B/W. Will give it a try

    Gigi,
I was thinking the entire image converted to B&W. My earlier comment was that in your original image the web on the top, right just seemed a bit less visible, maybe adjusting contrast on just that web. But your idea of these new images a good too.
