    DSC Files

    Is it ok to discard (Trash) the DSC exec file of 512 bytes that is associated with a camera to computer transfer of images?

    If I understand this correctly, then yes, you can remove the DSC file without any concern. The DSC file that I am familiar with is used for providing fast thumbnails and indexing.
