Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

It is a long exposure shot of President's House, New Delhi, India. These flowers are there or each side of the road with a small garden.

With the processing i did subtle change with the colors and boosted them. I have also enhanced the rim light on the leaves (I really like rim lights).

So what would I do differently to 'make it better', Raj.

Well possibly for me, there are two separate images in this scene and they are competing for my attention. The flowers and the buildings/sky.

Maybe, I would try a crop of the sky, which would mean a different image size ratio. Or a crop of the foreground flowers to concentrate more on the buildings and sky.

And I'm afraid that there is one flower in particular which has badly blurred.

But this is such a difficult scene to get absolutely perfect. Somehow, I think I would have gone for a faster shutter speed and just accepted a 'normal' sky.

Raj, you have a really good image here. I agree somewhat with Geoff, only I would crop the bottom two-thirds of the flowers off. You only need enough flowers to give a sense of place. Also, by cropping off the bottom, the horizon is lowered and no longer centered vertically. I like the sky as you have shown. I like what you have done with the colors.

Raj - I find that you have done a good job in executiion, but don't particularly like the combination of the flowers and the building. The building (and the sky) are very nice; but the flowers overpower the image and adds a level of complexity that doesn't work for me.

A panoramic view of the building and the sky, now that would be a powerful image.

Thanks a lot for your valuable review and suggestion sir. I'm waiting for a cloudy day to click more of the long exposures of the monument. I will reshoot it according to what you have suggested. (Currently the flower on the left is overlapping the building).
