    Patron tequila bottle

I was about halfway through setting up a shot when the bottle was positioned about as shown below purely by accident. When I noticed in the camera's LCD the composition, the large amount of negative space, and the cork loose and cocked to the right, the bottle suddenly became personified for me as if it felt lonely, forlorn and forgotten.

Now that I have stopped what I was doing to make this photo, I need to get back to trying the photo that I initially planned.

I know how to make it feel less lonely, forlorn and admirably remembered.
Great shot, I like the horizontal lines working through the image.

Sorry, Jack, but it's only water.

Can you balance a salt shaker and lime on top of that cork?

Had me thinking that the quantity missing from the bottle was in a glass in one hand whilst you were firing the shutter with the other - shame it's only water. Nice capture.

Continued thanks to everyone...and no, I can't balance anything on the cork.

The image that I set out to make before stopping to make the image shown above.

Well seen. I'm glad you took the time to stop and take this one. For the reasons you stated for taking it, I like it. And simplicity. It seems a good thing in this genre.

I like this! The effectiveness of simplicity is a lesson to me that transfers to other aspects of photography
