    Spider Web

I really don't like spiders but I saw this web on the railing of my deck and thought it was too nice to pass on. The web seemed to be almost perfect with no broken strands. The spider was quite small about 1/4" from end to end. Quit liked the way the sun was lighting it up. In the second one should I be darkening the 2 really bright strands?
There is always room for improvement so as always comments and critiques are most welcomed.

Both are nice, but I seem to see that you took a shot of it's bottom instead of the top? Or did you take this shot because of the positioning of the sun? Just curious...

Nice, the foreground object is a bit distracting in the first image.

The second for me but I agree with David, particularly the two strands on the top Right to Bottom left diagonal. Nice image though.

    Re: Spider Web

Thank you John and John, I will go back to the editing and try to calm down the highlights.

Isabel, it was the way the sun was showing the web up that caught my eye. The reason I took the underside of the spider is because the web was on the outside of my patio railing. If I had gone to ground level on the other side of the web it would have been about 2.5-3 meters high and I am no where near that tall unfortunately

Here is the re-edit of #2. Is this better/worse? What do you think?
