Good shots on a really tiny creature David. Well done. May i ask if you took these images indoors? The only reason is, i was thinking to get some different colours of paper to use in situation like this, where you could maybe complement the colours if the actual bug. Something to maybe try if ya do a few indoor images.

So nice and only 3 mm,you must have developed very careful eyes to see these sort of creatures David.I think this is the first rule to be a good macro shooter Is that a kind of transparent?Lovely green and very nice shots

Cheers Claudio, these were taken on top of one of my air con units, this particular one was just the right height for taking photo's,but i agree,i should have put some more thought in to it and got a better background, hindsight is a great thing,I suppose i got carried away with shooting such a small critter! My wife says what tree are they on? I hope you sprayed it!!!

Good one David, we are certainly getting a good selection and standard of mini critters being posted here. Hopefully we will soon hear what the two 'aerials' at the rear are and their purpose.

Cheers Grahame, yes it is good to see a bigger variety of bugs, lets more of us see what they are like up close and personal

I think the aerial's are for, left c.b. and right f.m.
