Narcissi

Yep, three days in a row and I've had some time with my camera which is a real treat for me. And following on from the primroses I have a few Narcissi out in the garden but not enough for picking, except this one specimen which had fallen over in the rain.....so in she came and gave me inspiration to capture the water droplets - do they work ?? I like them but my husband immediately wanted more in focus particularly with the 2nd shot.............................................

Thanks John...and the later on it got the more the flower dried and spraying it did not do the same job as nature had with the rain drops, maybe I'll put her outside in the vase tonight (yes its still raining)

Another rainy day, so as gardening was off the agenda I spent some more time with my flower.....hope you like her.

I changed the background from yesterday and used an old tin which provided a bit of reflection (and of course then had to remember to keep out of shot....)



Any thoughts for improvement welcome

Kaye, I like the composition on this latter shot and the softer background, maybe a little soft for my tastes, so its a toss up between this and No.2.

Lets hope it keeps raining in your part of the world
