I had to get over the shock of seeing a color landscape with your name by it before I could enjoy. Definitely a situation for a nice pano like this. Looks like a lovely little village though growing up you may not have thought so. Funny how perspective changes with the years. I can't believe you do so much work in B/W when your homeland has all of those wonderful greens and cloudy skies to work with
I can't believe you didn't set up your camera, stand looking out either upstairs window, and release the shutter remotely so you would be included in the photo.
My wife and I feel similarly about our small house that has fit us like an old shoe since 1985. I do have to concede, though, that "MacKenzie Mansion" has a ring that is more impressive than "Buckley Bungalow."
Donald I don't always get a lot of time to peruse every thread, much less get to comment.
But I wanted to say how much I have enjoyed this shot.
Even though its not even close to my part of the planet something about it hits home.
I have these wild moments every now and again, Dan. But I soon get over it!
I did wonder about using my mobile(cell) phone to call down to Sheila and tell her to stand at a window, but I might have got a rude reply. She hates getting her picture taken, even from several hundred yards away!
Thank you, Terry. That's a great compliment to get.
