I think I have the disease. I can add to this list from personal experience. You know your a photography addict when:

- getting that shot of sunrise is more important than getting to work on time.
- you select a new travel check bag based on whether it can fit your tripod or not.
- your spouse does not consider taking a camera on vacation because you got it covered and you are crazy enough to carry all that gear.

• you plan a holiday trip around places you can take photos
• a two hour trip turns out to take six hours
• you go to bed with your camera to learn more about settings
• you eat with one hand and shoot with the other
• you make your guests sit against a nice background
• you no longer see pretty girls, only pretty pictures
• you look at faces in terms of highlights and shadows
• you no longer look at things, you see things
• you look at the world around you in terms of dynamic range
