Ty Binnur , yeah I'm very happy with the catchlights and also lucky as they never blow out.

Hi Claudio, that No 1 is an unusual pose we do not see often, well captured. No 2's suffering a bit of noise at full size, did you try tackling this?

Hi Graham, thanks bud. I haven't tried any technique as I don't have a clue on what way is better to remove noise. I have PS CS5, can you recommend technique?

Claudio, I'm not familiar with PS CS5 at all as I only use Elements. For most of my macro I use ACR 50% noise reduction if I know I'm going to be cropping a fair bit otherwise I don't normally bother.

I have a programme called 'Neat' also for noise removal but as it's a freebie trial I am limited to only using it on images up the 1024 px wide but it's pretty good.

Claudio,if you have C.S.5,you will have camera raw? open up the sharpening thingy, the pointed dome icon.Below the sharpening sliders there is the luminance slider, move that up and down and it will reduce the noisebe careful not to go to far or it will wipe out your sharpeningRound about 30 works for me but every image is different, hope this helps bud

Claudio...I like #1 for its posture...looks like it is praying for its supper or something like that. #2 is not bad for a crop either. I was trying to guess what was in the reflection in his eyes (yes! I have decided it is a he. OK?) but I cannot gauge what it is. Was that your camera?

Hi Izzie , if i remember correctly it is a sign board for accommodation for a place where i took the image, but what I'm really happy with " and need to correct" is if you look closer there is split between the flash, right in the middle, that's 2 sheets of tracing paper on my flash diffuser which i have to correct to only make it one. I'm happy it works well, but unhappy it's 2 sheets. Btw,if it's a he, let's name him ...... Tex .

Oh OK... I thought that was the reflection of one of Tex's hairs... You've already name him...you can't kill him now...

I like #2 the best, it's a great shot and show the little guys character (technically, it shows *her* character. Tex is a she.)
I'm still waiting for one of you jumper shooters to really get the iridescence of their chelicerae.

Jack, do you have any idea how this would be best achieved? I have not got a clue but would love to achieve it.

Grahame, to be honest I don't have a clue, it's beyond my abilities. I suspect there may be some folks here who may have a clue. That being said, the internet is rife with photos of Salticidae iridescence so it can be done. Challenge laid down!

The detail in the second shot is off the charts. Nice job.
