Waterfall
I came across this waterfall today so I figured that I would try, for the first time, to go for the silky water effect.
Am I on the right track here? Any feedback is most appreciated.

Re: Waterfall
I'd say you did good, Rita. You have to figure out the right shutter speed for every different fall. The ss worked well in this case. Nice looking water. And your base composition is pretty nice for this little fall. I'm not on a calibrated monitor so don't want to comment too much on processing. But it seems a bit undersatureated. There are a few little nitnoids for potential cloning but most of that type stuff is a matter of preference anyhow.
That's a lovely little fall and if it's close by your home could be good for a few visits with different sets of conditions.

Re: Waterfall
Thank you John.
Dan, thank you and I agree that the processing needs some work. About all I did in PP was a quick crop and then posted. I will work on the processing later. Yes, this little fall is not too far from where I live so it is easy to do a return visit . Appreciate your feedback.

Re: Waterfall
Well, I played a bit on the pic and here is the edit I came up with. I am not sure I should have removed the tree from the right hand side or not. Is this looking somewhere near better? Something else I could have done or something I could have done different?

Re: Waterfall
Hi Rita, the colours are nice in the edit but I wouldn't crop the image from left and top and I wouldn't remove the tree on the right either.Because plants frame the waterfall very well and they add to the composition

Re: Waterfall
Binnur, thank you for your feedback. I totally agree with you. Decided to post this version to see if others felt the same.
