One of your best images, John.

My only suggestion is to eliminate the halos. You could do that by selectively removing all sharpening where they occur, as there is already so much contrast between the dark and light tones in those areas that you won't need to sharpen them.

David, no filter used but a fair amount of PP in the shadows.
Selectively applied a bit of Gaussian Blur Colin and it works. Thanks.
